GDL88 : GDL88 Status...Control panel input fault check transponder
The set up of the GDL 88 utilizes “ autosquawk”. The fault would happen shortly after takeoff and on rare occasion disappear just to return a short time later.. I have a Garmin GDL 82 and I only get a fault when the GPS signals are weak.
